President of Dominica on State Visit to China

 At the invitation of the Chinese Government, His Excellency the President and Mrs. Liverpool have left Dominica on an official visit to the People�s Republic of China.
While in Beijing, His Excellency will hold talks with Vice-President Zeng Quinghong who will host the entire delegation to a State Dinner at the Great Hall of the People. His Excellency also will meet with the Dominican students who are studying in China.
In addition to many places of historical interest in Beijing, the delegation will visit the cities of Xi�an and Chengdu; and His Excellency will pay courtesy calls on the Members of the Supreme Court of China, and the University of Law and Politics in Beijing.
The other members of the delegation include: Minister for Carib Affairs, Hon. Kelly Graneau; Minister of State in the Office of the Prime Minister, Hon. Rayburn Blackmoore; Ambassador/Permanent Representative of the Commonwealth of Dominica to the United Nations, His Excellency, Crispin Gregoire and Parliamentary Representative for the Grand Fond constituency, Hon. Abraham Brown.
This visit by Dr. Liverpool to China is the first by a Dominican Head of State since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Commonwealth of Dominica and the People�s Republic of China on March 23, 2004.
Mr. Conrad O. McIntyre has been designated to act in the Office of President in the absence of His Excellency.
President Liverpool returns to the State on Sunday, March 26, 2006.
