Beijing, China (TDN) -- A court in China has ruled in favor of a Chinese man who divorced his wife and then sued her arguing that the baby was ugly.
The Chinese press has reported that a few years ago Jien Feng married and fell in love with a beautiful woman. Shortly after their marriage they had a baby girl. However, Feng accused his beautiful wife of having an affair claiming that the baby was ugly and that he was not the father.
His wife however insisted that he was the father and that the baby girl did look her, or at least how she used to look. It turned out that his wife had invested over $100 000 in plastic surgery to alter her looks.
Feng proceeded with the divorce and then turned to the court for relief claiming that he married his wife under false pretenses since he had no idea of the way she looked prior to getting married to him.
The Chinese court agreed with Feng and awarded him over $120 000 in damages.
