Veterans Hunter and Scrunter out Checko and Vigilante through to Calypso finals
 Roseau, Dominica (TDN) -- Twenty-one top calypsonians fought it out in the semi finals of the 2012 Carnival season in what turned out to be a tightly contested competition at the Carnival City in Pottersville. At the end of the evening, nine were left standing and will go on to face reigning calypso monarch Tasha P at the grand finals slated for February 18, 2012 at the same venue.
